On December 11th, iStarChip Semiconductor made its debut at the 2023 “ZhongZhiLu” Intellectual Property Operation Forum of the 20th Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum. This event, with the theme of “Promote international intellectual property operation and boost high-quality development of the digital economy”, gathered industry elites and experts to jointly explore the future trends and challenges of international intellectual property operation.

At the discussion on the topic of “Exploring the International Operation of Intellectual Property in the Digital Economy”, Mr. Jonny Lee, COO of iStarChip Semiconductor, introduced the company’s full-process services in the design, production, and sales of automotive safety chips. As a China-based enterprise that produces core chips with independent controllability, iStarChip is committed to meeting the world’s most stringent driving safety standards and providing high-performance, low-power, and highly integrated products for the new electronic and electrical architecture. iStarChip has filed nearly 20 invention patents and copyrights in 2023, with plans to generate over 30 invention patents annually in the future. In terms of intellectual property protection, iStarChip Semiconductor has established a comprehensive intellectual property management system through independent research and development and international cooperation, providing comprehensive protection and management for innovative achievements. In the meantime, iStarChip will fully open its production-level reference design software technology and provide a shared platform for major component manufacturers and vehicle companies to promote industry-wide innovation.

At the forum, iStarChip Semiconductor won the Most Valuable Investment Award for its innovative project concepts, solid technical foundation and outstanding team strength! This forum was hosted by the Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau and co-sponsored by the National Intellectual Property Operation (Shanghai) International Service Platform, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Exchange Center, and the South-South Global Technology Intellectual Property Exchange. Leaders in attendance included Qun Chen, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the China Democratic League, as well as Wenbiao Rui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau, and Ge Jiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai University of Science and Technology.
