The Guangdong Provincial Selection Competition for the Semiconductor Discrete Devices and Integrated Circuit Assembly and Adjustment Worker (Automotive Chip Development and Application) event of the Second National Skills Competition for Industrial and Information Technology ended smoothly in late October. Through fierce competition, two outstanding members of iStarChip Semiconductor Guangdong Branch, Mr. Fan and Mr. Wu, won the great prize!

This competition was jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincal Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Human Resources and Social Security Department, the Education Department, the General Federation of Trade Unions, and the Youth League Committee of Guangdong Province. The aim is to promote the cultivation of highly skilled talents in integrated circuits in Guangdong Province and promote high-quality development of the integrated circuit industry in the province. iStarChip Semiconductor actively responded and the contestants we sent emerged as winners.

Excellent skills and a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills

This competition includes both theoretical knowledge and practical operation. All contestants who passed the registration qualification review first participated in a theoretical exam. Based on the total score ranking of the team in the theoretical exam, the top 30 teams were selected from the employee group and student group respectively to participate in the practical operation competition. In the competition, our two teammates demonstrated strong theoretical foundation and superb practical skills, reflecting their excellent professional quality and vocational skills. They not only performed outstandingly in the theoretical exam, but also showed remarkable skills in the practical operation.

This competition not only brought honor to the two teammates of iStarChip, but more importantly, the valuable experience they accumulated in the competition. They expressed that they will continue to work hard, maintain a good state and spirit of continuous progress, and achieve better results.
